The Zelika project sparked numerous discussions within Haste! Studio, not only about our identity as a studio but also about how we express our passion to the world. What we've created here is not just a collection of designs; it's a reflection of our core interests and values.

Countless hours were spent pondering the possibilities, exploring concepts like custom helmets and modular steering wheels. These explorations were not only immensely enjoyable but also deeply insightful, offering a glimpse into the endless potential of our imagination.

NOT JUST A CAR...

From a distant perspective, our work might easily be dismissed as just another car project. However, we refuse to be confined by such a simplistic label. With this collection, we set out to transcend our previous endeavors, pushing the boundaries of our imagination to conceive concepts that align with our vision.

We delved deep into the intricacies of automotive design, pondering questions such as: What defines the essence of a car? How does it feel to be behind the wheel? What emotions does the driver experience both inside and outside the vehicle? These considerations guided our exploration.

We approached the entire design process with the mindset that this is not just about engineering a machine; it's about creating art. Automotive art that transcends mere functionality, evoking emotions that can be seen and felt. Each detail is meticulously crafted to convey a distinct voice, contributing to a larger narrative of creativity and expression.

For an artist, the realm of imagination knows no bounds. Likewise, for a designer, the quest for innovative solutions is a perpetual journey. At Haste!, our design ethos is dynamic, constantly evolving as we reevaluate and reconstruct our concepts of taste and philosophies.

Central to our approach is the art of storytelling—a narrative that forms the foundation of our ambitions. We seek solutions that not only address immediate challenges but also contribute to the unfolding storyline as it evolves and grows.

For an artist, the work is never truly finished; it simply evolves, reflecting the ever-changing landscape of our imagination.

 THE HELMET

The idea for the helmet originated from a simple yet profound question: "What if?" This brief conversation ignited our imagination, leading to a flurry of spontaneous sketches that sparked our creativity.

Currently, we're honing our skills with the incredible CAD software, Plasticity. Leveraging its powerful workflow, we brought the concept of the helmet to life. Beginning with a question, we navigated through rough sketches and references, refining our ideas until we achieved precision in the manufacturing process, yielding our inaugural MHC exclusive edition Helmet.

Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of sources including films, games, popular culture, and contemporary F1 helmets, we infused our design with a blend of influences. This design challenge has been immensely rewarding, offering valuable lessons and insights along the way.

THE WHEEL

One standout element of this collection that holds a special place in our hearts is "THE WHEEL." Exploring the possibilities of this component was an exhilarating journey for us. It marked a significant milestone in the evolution of Haste!.

Our goal was to reimagine the traditional racing wheel, infusing it with our unique aesthetic while retaining its fundamental usability. We challenged ourselves to simplify this iconic object, to distill it down to its essence, while injecting our personal taste and style into its design.

The result? A stunning blend of form and function—a piece of usable, functional art that not only captivates the eye but also enhances the automotive experience. "THE WHEEL" serves as a testament to our exploration of design, bringing us immense joy as creators and designers.

OUR PROCESS

At the core of every design, concept, and intention lies our fundamental question: What if? What if we challenged the conventional function of an object? What if we reimagined its purpose entirely? What if it transcended its practical utility and became a piece of gallery-worthy art? These questions serve as our starting point, igniting a process of exploration and evolution.

We begin with rough 2D sketches, prototypes of thought that undergo multiple iterations until the forms start to reveal themselves. These sketches are the seeds from which our designs blossom, gradually evolving into dimensional forms that expose any missing details and considerations.

With each detail that emerges, more questions arise. Yet, these questions all align with our chief goal: to keep the object present, alive with purpose and meaning. It's a delicate balance of time, focus, curiosity, and the ability to maintain unbiased objectivity—a magical formula that guides our creative process.

To truly appreciate these details, we adhere to a methodical approach, starting from the big picture and gradually refining our focus to the medium and small details. It's in these small details where the magic truly happens.

Once we've reached this level of detail, we delight in infusing additional narrative into our designs. Whether it's the subtle signs of wear and tear that tell a story of history and use, or the inclusion of hidden decals that hold deeper meanings and messages, we revel in these hidden concepts.

For us, it's in these final touches, the last 2% of every project, where our designs truly shine, adding layers of depth and intrigue that elevate the overall experience.
