"Before I got my NSX, I was leaning towards purchasing a Pantera."

THE TERA - M.H.C. 002

Here is the De Tomaso Pantera in true ALT-C spec.  Not much is needed to make this already beautiful classic even more awesome, so I just did a few things I felt would elevate it’s appearance.  I removed the rear spoiler and opted for a rear extension.  I added some ITB stacks on the massive V8 big block out back, along with a new exhaust that shoots out where the license plate should’ve been but who needs a license plate anyway.   I also swapped in one of my favorite rear diffusers from the impeccable Ford GT.  Up front, I kept things clean and simple since the rear is a bit wild.  I went with an external oil cooler that was inspired by many awesome builds from Japan. The interior is caged with a nice racing bucket set fitted in there nice and snug.  To finish things off, I replaced the stock shoes with some of my favorite wheels designed and created by Carlos for his Stratus build.  I think they fit perfectly.

"Inspired by the amazing Pennzoil GTR I thought it would be fun to apply the same livery to the Pantera."

THE TERA - M.H.C. 001

I had a lot of fun exploring different light and paint setups for this build.  It was originally a matte white, but after some tests I found this blue paint color that worked out amazingly well.  I shared the results with Carlos and we both agreed this was the better route to take.  From there, it was all about finding ways to represent the car in the most realistic yet stylized lighting setups.  Many of you ask what tools I use, and for now, I’m really loving rendering my vehicle in Corona renderer… but yes I still use octane daily for other things.  Knowledge is power and I’m always trying to learn new things and be humbled by just how many things I don’t know.

Endless fun!
