THE MS60 - M.H.C. 009

I can say easily that McLaren is one of my favorite car brands ever, and the Mclaren F1 stands out as one of the best cars of all time.  However, I decided I wanted to mess around with a design of the legendary race car M6GT.  I didn’t know much about this car at first and just randomly found it while I was doing some other research.  An old-school closed cockpit race car that featured the first monocoque chassis constructed by McLaren.  A total hidden gem!

I wanted to keep the original vibe of it as much as I could, but with a totally new rear end and renovated long tail finish.

The tail light design follows the straight line of the body and really brings a cool modern touch on this old racer.

I had a lot of fun playing with this crazy race car with a Livery inspired by the movie THX1138. As a big fan of the movie, I knew I wanted to do something fun and special, making it a nice contrast to the brutal nature and design of the car. It fits perfectly.
