THE TYRANT - M.H.C. 003
The Tyrant Dodge Viper SRT10 / 1995 is one of the coolest car I’ve ever seen and one of my favorite cars from childhood. When Ash told me that he was planning to build a Viper, I immediately thought of the first generation with its super smooth and iconic 90s shapes. So we thought it would be really cool to prepare two Vipers with our different design approach for each.

"I completely love the original version; it’s clean, smooth and aggressive… a perfect american v10 machine."

THE TYRANT - M.H.C. 003
After spending a few days on this build, I was having difficulty fully visualizing it. I knew I was missing something and kept thinking "what can I do to improve the Viper?" However, this was the wrong question to ask myself. Instead, I started to think "how could it look in an alternative universe?" From there, everything finally started coming together piece by piece. I let go of the pressure I put on myself and I was just having fun like a kid. I learned to enjoy the process of doing my own interpretation of the legendary Viper.

A common approach for car designers is utilize nature or animals as inspiration, but quite often that can lead to some funny front and back views. So instead, I chose to focus on giving this a look of a solid abstract and cold machine, void of any tail lights.
